These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Dayo Volleyball website and your participation in Dayo Volleyball games, tournaments and events ("Games") in Wellington, New Zealand. By using this website, registering for a Game, or sponsoring the club, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or register for a Game.
Dayo Volleyball is a community, player-run social volleyball club based in Wellington, New Zealand. We organise casual and competitive games, tournaments and social events for players who already know the basics of volleyball.
Games listed on this website have a limited number of spots. Registering for a Game does not guarantee a place until your registration and payment have been reviewed and confirmed by an organiser. Some Games may require an access code provided by an organiser or sponsor.
Where a Game requires payment, you will be asked to make payment by the method shown at registration and upload a screenshot of your payment as proof. Your spot remains pending until an organiser has verified this payment. Providing a false or altered payment screenshot may result in your registration being rejected and future registrations being declined. Payment screenshots are retained and deleted as described in our Data Privacy Policy.
Games may be rescheduled, moved, or cancelled due to venue availability, low numbers, weather, or other circumstances outside our control; we'll do our best to notify registered players by email as soon as possible. Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis — please contact us if you're unable to attend a Game you've paid for.
Photos and videos may be taken at Games, tournaments and social events and used in our Team Gallery, on this website, and on our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook) to promote the club and its sponsors. By attending a Game or event, you consent to being photographed or filmed in this context.
Volleyball is a physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury. By registering for and attending a Game, you acknowledge this risk and participate at your own discretion. Please ensure you are medically fit to play and follow any safety guidance given by organisers or venue staff.
Businesses and individuals who sponsor Dayo Volleyball do so under the terms agreed directly with the club at the time of sponsorship. Sponsor branding shown on this website (including on the Sponsorships page) reflects current, active sponsorship arrangements and may be updated or removed at the end of an agreement.
The Dayo Volleyball name, logo, and the text, photos and design on this website belong to Dayo Volleyball or are used with permission, unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, reproduce or use this content for commercial purposes without our written consent.
To the extent permitted by law, Dayo Volleyball, its organisers and volunteers are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in a Game or use of this website, except where such liability cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to how the club or website operates. The "Last updated" date above shows when these Terms last changed. Continued use of the website or participation in Games after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
